About the Award
The Frontiersman Award recognizes adult volunteers who make exceptional contributions to Scouting in the Frontier District of Hawk Mountain Council.
The Frontiersman Award is a district-level recognition presented to adult leaders who have demonstrated outstanding service to Scouting through their dedication, commitment, and impact on youth in the Frontier District. This award acknowledges those who have gone above and beyond in their service to Scouting at the unit and district levels.
Award Criteria
Recipients of the Frontiersman Award typically demonstrate excellence in several areas:
- Dedicated Service - Consistent commitment to supporting Scouting activities
- Leadership - Effective guidance and mentorship in Scouting roles
- Program Support - Contributions to improving Scouting programs at unit or district level
- Training - Participation in and promotion of Scout leader training
- Youth Development - Focus on creating positive experiences for youth in Scouting
