| Troop 529 meets in the town of Gibraltar, about 7 miles southeast of Reading. It has been chartered to St. John's Lutheran Church since 1947. We are part of the Hawk Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America. |

| The Troop serves youth ages 10-17 in the Gibraltar and Robeson Township areas, as well as parts of Birdsboro, Exeter Township, and surrounding areas. Meetings are held every Monday evening from 6:30-8:00pm at St John's Lutheran Church on Old River Road in Gibraltar. We put emphasis on the Scout principles of building Character, Citizenship, and Physical Fitness. We also offer leadership training through the Scouting program. We hold monthly outdoor activities and occasional high adventure trips, as well as involving the members in church & community service and in conservation projects. Our aim is to develop character, citizenship, and physical fitness through the Scout program. |
